NABH Accreditation by Quality council of India – Jayadeva is the first Government Heart Institute in the country to get this distinction.  Reaccredited in the year 2018, 2021

Training Heart Specialists and Surgeons +

• Enhancement of Superspeciality post graduate seats in DM Cardiology from 3 to 25 and MCh- Cardiothoracic surgery from 2 to 12 seats comes into effect from 2009, DM Cardiac Anesthesia 8 seats.  (This is highest number in the country)
• NMC has accorded approval to start Mch – Vascular surgery course (2 seats) from 2022.
• Starting of Post Basic Diploma in Cardiothoracic Nursing with 10 seats

Free Angioplasties&Open Heart Surgeries, Pacemakers, etc

• 6150 - poor patients underwent Angioplasties and Open Heart Surgeries free/subsidized rates, out of Institute resources and sponsorship from various donors

Indo-American  Angioplasty Workshops

• 16 Indo-American Workshops on Angioplasty conducted. 2500 patients were treated free.During 2024,170 Angioplasties for poor patients in just 3dayin joint collaboration with Medtronics Vascular Division & NRI Heart Foundation, USA. 

Sampornaarogyasuraksha trust / Arogya Karnataka scheme

• Under “Arogya Karnataka scheme ”13000In-patients were treated in the year 2023

Overseas Academic Activities

• Training Programme for Overseas Doctors in the field of Cardiology.  Doctors had underwent training at the Institute from USA, UK, China, Vietnam, England, Middle east, African content, Egypt, etc.,
