  • 250% growth
  • 17,000 Cathlab procedures were performed (Highest in the Country)
  • 10,000 Angiograms
  • 1,500 Mitral Valvuloplasties (Highest in the World)
  • 3,200 Angioplasties (Highest in the Country)
  • 2,600 Bypass & Valve Replacement Surgeries

ADDITION OF NEW FACILITIES

The working bed strength of the Hospital is increased from 275 to 475 beds and the following facilities are added for the benefit of the patients during 2006, 2007 and 2008.

  1. Full fledged Electrophysiology Department
  2. Full fledged Nuclear Cardiology Department
  3. Up gradation of the Blood Bank is done
  4. 3rd & 4th Operation Theaters were opened
  5. 4th ICCU is established
  6. 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Floor general wards are commissioned
  7. 4 number of 2D Echo machines and 3 TMT machines are added
  8. 24 Hours Pharmacy
  9. Digital Library
  10. Mortuary Unit
  11. Solar Water heating system is established (30,000 liters)
  12. New software for OPD Registration, Billing, Laboratories and Stores
  13. New OPD Block is opened for Single window OPD evaluation
  14. Accommodation to Doctors & Staff Nurse in the premises
  15. Vehicle parking facilities in the backyard of SJIC
TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR OVERSEAS DOCTORS

SJIC is attracting overseas Doctors from France, Argentina, USA, Middle East, Ireland, China, UK for training program in various procedures. Recently Chinese Cardiologist, Dr.Jiang Yang joint Institute for 1 year training in Angioplasty/Valvuloplasty.
